The thing that really drew me into the Stephanie Meyer / Catherine Hardwicke “Twilight” was a specific spot of music editing talent Mr. Adam Smalley (or whoever was working with him) demonstrated. In the scene, Bella was wondering why the mysterious Edward had not been showing up to school. The Cullen family’s vehicle pulled up to the high school parking lot without him and the voice and electric guitar of Blue Foundation’s “Eyes on Fire” (just the beginning of the song) pulled the audience in.
